Brittany
Wednesday the 24th and Thursday the 25th of April we spent a little time in Brittany. The real pleasure was driving through the beautiful country side. In particular we visited Mont Saint-Michel, the towns of Fougeres, Vitre and Josselin each with much of their medieval city centers intact, including the castles. We finished at the ancient stone alignments at Carnac. Rain affected the visit, particularly Mont Saint Michel which was steep, narrow, slick and very crowded. The trade off: The skies were beautiful.
